Aurelio Peccei was an Italian industrialist. While still associated with Fiat, Aurelio Peccei became President of a large consulting organization, Italconsult. He was also an executive of Olivetti and was a founder of and an active participant in the Atlantic Development Group for Latin America (ADELA). He still found time to speak all over the world about his concerns for the global future. It was while he was involved in all these activities that he first met Alexander King in Paris. Their fruitful collaboration resulted in the creation of the Club of Rome.
